Back to the site of the last couple of entries.\u00a0 As I said previously, there should be old silver here, and after a dry hunt yesterday, finally got one, a toasted 1892 barber dime.\u00a0 (Also found a religious pendant stamped “CHAPEL STER”.\u00a0 Not sure what that is, but it sounded sort of like silver, and tested as silver, tho it doesn’t look so much like silver).<\/p>\n

Missed a seated by one year.\u00a0 And, I could not tell in the field as all I could make out was the back, and the backs are basically the same between the two types.\u00a0 Oh well, better luck next time.<\/p>\n

Site also has an abundance of wild raspberries, which are now in season.\u00a0 I love these things fresh off the bush.\u00a0 Managed to pick about 3 cups worth in 20 minutes.\u00a0 Probably got about 20% of what was in the patch.<\/p>\n
