{"id":2396,"date":"2014-02-11T09:22:59","date_gmt":"2014-02-11T14:22:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mapsurfer.com\/blog\/?p=2396"},"modified":"2014-02-11T10:47:07","modified_gmt":"2014-02-11T15:47:07","slug":"the-endless-winter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.puzzlemaze.org\/df\/blog\/archives\/2396","title":{"rendered":"The Endless Winter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is just a test post cause there was an issue with my ISP making posting impossible.<\/p>\n<p>More ice and snow.\u00a0 Last one was a massive ice storm, knocking out power to our house for 5 days.\u00a0 It was cold.\u00a0 It was miserable.\u00a0 It was actually a bit traumatic for some reason.\u00a0 You worry about all kinds of bad things happening when the temp in your house is just at freezing for 5 days, and you have no idea when it will be fixed.\u00a0 I still had the jitters 12 hours on after it was fixed.\u00a0 It was an ordeal..<\/p>\n<p>Its 7 degrees now, and we have about 6 inches of snow on top of frozen ground.\u00a0 The whole east cost is gonna get blasted again this week.\u00a0 The south may go thru ice\/power issues like we did.\u00a0 Knowing what it is like firsthand, my heart goes out to them.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not even thinking of when I&#8217;ll ever detect again, which sucks cause this is a metal detecting blog.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve found a total of 6 coins so far this year.<\/p>\n<p>So that all is what it is.\u00a0 Sometimes life is hard.\u00a0 I know people live in areas where it is like this most of the winter.\u00a0 It just isn&#8217;t like this around here too often, and I not used to it, and am growing weary of it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is just a test post cause there was an issue with my ISP making posting impossible.
